(Rock Rapids)– A Rock Rapids man was injured Saturday after losing control of a motorcycle he was driving on a county road near Rock Rapids.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old Brian DeWild of Rock Rapids was driving a 1994 Honda eastbound when he lost control. The motorcycle went into the south ditch where it rolled several times.
DeWild was taken by ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids for treatment of incapacitating injuries.
The mishap took place shortly after 5:30 a.m. Saturday on Lyon county road A-16 east of Harding Avenue.
An estimate of damage to the motorcycle wasn’t immediately available.
