Motorcycle Vs Deer Collision Injures One

(Jackson, Mn.)– A Trimont, Minnesota man was injured Sunday when a motorcycle he was driving collided with a deer.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Jerald Shade of Trimont was driving a 2010 Yamaha on County Road 14 east of the intersection with County Road 17 when a deer ran out in front of him, resulting in a collision.

Shade, who was wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Sanford Jackson Medical Center. There was no immediate word on the extent of his injuries or condition.

A damage estimate to the motorcycle wasn’t available.

The collision took place shortly before 1:00 p.m.
