(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson County 4-H And FFA Fair continues through Thursday in Spirit Lake.
Monday’s (7/23) events include the sheep and goat show at 8:00 a.m.; rabbit show at 2:00 p.m.; fun classes in the horse show at 3:30 p.m.; a barbecue by the Dickinson County Beef Producers from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. along with an ice cream social by the Spirit Lake Sunrise Kiwanis; Share-the-Fun, fashion review, clothing selection, working exhibits and educational presentations at 6:00 p.m.; and the farmer olympics at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s (7/24) events include the beef show at 9:00 a.m.; the Okoboji FFA will serve a lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; the pet show at Noon; dog show at 1:30 p.m.; table setting contest at 3:00 p.m.; consumer judging at 4:00 p.m.; the Dickinson County Pork Producers will hold a barbecue from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. along with an ice cream social by the Spirit Lake Sunrise Kiwanis; and the annual pie auction at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday’s (7/25) schedule includes the swine show at 8:00 a.m.; carnival at 1:00 p.m.; kiddie pedal tractor pull at 3:30 p.m.; overall showmanship contest at 5:30 p.m. and the fair awards program at 7:30 p.m. followed by the release of exhibits and non-sale livestock.
And Thursday’s (7/26) events include the pancake and sausage breakfast at 6:30 a.m. with the 4-H and Livestock Sale at 8:00 a.m. with the youth dance at 7:00 p.m.
