(Spencer)– A Clay county man will be inducted into the 2012 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame during a ceremony scheduled for 1:30 p.m. August 19th during the Iowa State Fair.
Mike Schoning will be recognized for his many years of work on the sheep and beef committees in Clay county.
Schoning will be one of 114 inductees this year. The program honors those people for their outstanding service and dedication to 4-H. Inductees will be presented a certificate by the Iowa 4-H Foundation.
The Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame was initiated in 2002 to help commemorate the 100th anniversary of 4-H.
