(Arnolds Park)– The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a single-vehicle crash this past Saturday that injured a Kansas man.
Authorities say 21-year-old Andrew Bowman of Perry, Kansas was driving a 2002 Dodge Entrepid eastbound on 190th Street near the intersection with County Road M56. Authorities say Bowman failed to stop at the intersection. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled, trapping Bowman inside with his arm pinned under the vehicle. Officers and responders lifted the vehicle and freed Bowman’s arm. He was then transported to Lakes Regional Healthcare with incapacitating injuries.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6,000.
The crash took place shortly after 1:00 a.m.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police Departments, Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics, Milford Rescue and Bob’s Auto Body of Milford.
