(Sioux Rapids)– A Sioux Rapids company has expanded its operations.
Bob Reno, Manager of Ranco Fertiservice, says the company has completed work on a 10,000 square foot expansion of its main facility, giving it 30,000 square feet of fabricating and raw material storage space.
Ranco says the expansion will greatly help the company increase the efficiency of its operations.
Ranco shares a portion of that facility with a daycare operation and the Sioux Central school.
All total, Ranco’s operations encompass 83,000 square feet among eight different buildings.
Ranco Fertiservice has manufactured fertilizer blending and handling equipment since 1961. The company has more than 80 employees.
