I90 Rollover Results In MInor Injuries

November 22, 2014

(Rushmore, Mn.)– A single-vehicle rollover Saturday on Interstate 90 near the Rushmore exit in Nobles county resulted in minor injuries to a Sioux Falls man.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 37-year-old Michael Meyer was driving a 2001 Lincoln westbound when he drifted off the road to the left. Troopers say Meyer then steered hard to the right, causing the vehicle to go across the westbound lanes where it went into the ditch and struck a post and rolled. It traveled through a fence before coming to rest on its roof.

A news release doesn’t say whether Meyer was taken to a hospital.

Severe damage was reported to the vehicle.

The crash took place around 4:30 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Rushmore Rescue and the Worthington ambulance.
