(Worthington, Mn.)– Two people were injured Saturday in a car-deer collision in Nobles county.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 35-year-old Samitra Schuster of Sioux Falls was driving a 2008 Pontiac westbound on Interstate 90 when he collided with a deer, which went through the windshield.
Schuster and a passenger, 12-year-old Riley Sullivan of Sioux Falls, were taken to Sanford Hospital in Worthington where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
Moderate damage was reported to the vehicle.
The collision took place shortly before 11:00 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
