(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop last weekend in Spirit Lake resulted in multiple charges against a Spencer man.
Spirit Lake police say an officer pulled over a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Nathaniel Broadhead of Spencer for speeding shortly after 2:00 a.m. Saturday on Highway 71 near 41st Street.
Upon investigating officers determined Broadhead was allegedly intoxicated and was in possession of what’s alleged to be controlled substances and drug parphernalia.
Broadhead was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of operating while intoxicated…2nd offense; two counts of possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense…marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; speeding; and failure to prove security against liability.
