(Spencer)—A traffic stop this past Saturday in Clay county resulted in the arrest of a Wallingford teen on a drug charge.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old male from Wallingford shortly before 9:00 p.m. in the 2900 mile of County Road N-14.
Upon investigating the deputy observed tobacco products in the vehicle and knew the driver was under 18. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up additional tobacco products and a small quantity of what’s alleged to be marijuana.
The juvenile, who’s name hasn’t been released, was arrested and charged in juvenile court with possession of marijuana…a serious misdemeanor. He was released to the custody of his mother.
