(Spirit Lake)– Alliant Energy and Polaris Industries have teamed up to help Polaris increase energy efficiency at its Spirit Lake plant. Polaris worked with Alliant Energy to install new compact-fluorescent fixtures and LED lights. Officials say it will result in a savings of more than 240,000 kilowatt hours a year for the manufacturer.
The upgrades allowed Polaris to qualify for an incentive of more than $19,000 from Alliant Energy, which offers numerous reward programs for residential, business, farm or commercial facilities.
Custom rebates are available for energy-saving projects that do not qualify for standard equipment rebates.
