(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Tuesday evening in Wahpeton resulted in the arrest of a Wahpeton man on drug and other charges.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle shortly after 8:00 p.m. on West Street in Wahpeton. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver, 27-year-old Judd Ferguson of Wahpeton, was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to obey a stop sign; and failure to prove security against liability.
Ferguson was later released after posting a $2,000 bond.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Milford Police Department, a drug recognition expert from the Spencer Police Department and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office K-9.
