(Emmetsburg)—Emmetsburg police say they’ve made an arrest in connection with a stolen pickup that was destroyed in an arson fire.
The pickup, owned by the city, was stolen sometime early Sunday from the Five Island Golf Course.
Upon investigating, police announced today (Wed.) they’ve arrested 36-year-old Douglas Grissom of Phoenix, Arizona in connection with the incident. He was charged with possession of stolen property…a class “D” felony…and was booked into the Palo Alto county jail pending an initial court appearance.
Emmetsburg Police Chief Eric Hanson says the incident remains under investigation and that additional arrests will be forthcoming.
