(Spirit Lake)– Another community leader is reflecting upon the passing of a former longtime Spirit Lake Police Chief and community member Duane Yager.
Dr. Eric Nielsen served as Mayor for many years during Yager’s tenure as Police Chief and while he was on the city council…(click here for comment from Nielsen.)
As we reported earlier, Duane passed away Tuesday at the age of 82. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 1st) at the United Methodist Church in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be held Friday (Nov. 30th) from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Schuchert Funeral Home in Spirit Lake.
