Dangerous Winter Storm Continues To Impact Region

A dangerous winter storm will continue to impact most of the region through the morning hours this (Thur.) morning. While the measurable snow has moved well east out of the area, a strong northwest wind continues to cause considerable blowing and drifting snow.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect until Noon for Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, O’Brien and Osceola counties in Iowa and Jackson, Nobles and Watonwan counties in Minnesota.

A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect until Noon for Emmet, Kossuth and Palo Alto counties in Iowa.

A BLIZZARD WARNING is in effect until noon for Buena Vista, Pocahontas and Humboldt counties in Iowa and Martin and Faribault counties in Minnesota.
