(Worthington, Mn.)– Minor injuries were reported last (Thurs.) evening when a snowmobile collided with a semi tractor on Highway 60 near Worthington.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 22-year-old Travis McEvoy of Worthington was operating a 1992 Yamaha snowmobile eastbound and was attempting to cross the highway when he collided with an eastbound 2007 Freightliner tractor driven by 69-year-old Ivan Hiepler of Minneota, Minnesota.
Minor injuries were reported to McEvoy, but troopers say he wasn’t taken to a hospital. No injuries were reported to Hiepler.
No damage was reported to the semi tractor; the snowmobile was totaled.
The collision took place shortly after 8:00 p.m.
