(Spencer)—A locally-based bank is getting some special recognition.
Northwest Bank has been recognized by the USDA Rural Development as being one of the state’s top community bank loan originating and loan writing lenders during the past year through the agency’s guaranteed housing loan program.
Northwest Bank was acknowledged with 112 loans totaling $11.2 million.
Northwest Bank was also recognized for having the state’s third highest loan writing total.
Northwest Bank is a $1.05 billion community bank with offices in Algona, Arnolds Park, Ankeny, Belmond, Estherville, Fort Dodge, Humboldt, Milford, Spencer, Spirit Lake, Storm Lake, and West Des Moines in Iowa as well as Omaha and La Vista in Nebraska.
