Light Snow To Continue Through Most Of Friday

November 22, 2014

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY remains in effect for areas east of the Iowa Great Lakes until Noon today (Fri.).

Flurries or light snow will continue through the balance of the day with any additional accumulation ranging from a dusting up to an inch.

About three inches of new, powdery snow fell between from when it started Thursday up until 6:00 a.m. Friday in the Iowa Great Lakes.

The wind will remain light snow blowing and drifting won’t be an issue. However, roads, especially less traveled ones and city streets, have areas of compaction and are slippery.
