(Emmetsburg)– It didn’t take long for the first baby of 2013 to be born at Palo Alto County Health System in Emmetsburg.
Evelyn Raen Iwen was born at 12:48 a.m. Tuesday weighing 6 pounds 8.5 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long.
Evelyn’s parents are Derek and Ashley Iwen of Mallard. Evelyn was also welcomed by her big brother, Wyatt Iwen.
It’s believed Evelyn was the fourth baby born in Iowa in 2013.
