Search Of Residence Results In Arrest Of Wahpeton Man On Drug Charges

(Spirit Lake)—The search of a Wahpeton residence has resulted in the arrest of a man on multiple drug charges.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Todd Booge of Wahpeton was arrested on charged of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver methamphetamine…a class “B” felony; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver marijuana…a class “D” felony; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver bath salts/MDVP…an aggravated misdemeanor; gatherings where controlled substances are unlawfully used…a class “D” felony; a drug tax stamp violation…also a class “D” felony; prohibited acts…an aggravated misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor.

Deputies executed the search warrant in the 1200 block of Harpen Street in Wahpeton back on January 7th. Booge was booked into the Dickinson county jail on January 10th and was released the same day after posting a $44,300.

Authorities say the case is still under investigation and that more arrests are expected.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Okoboji, Arnolds Park and Milford Police Departments and the Iowa State Patrol.
