As wintertime drags on, the thought of springtime flowers may cheer up an otherwise dreary day, and the American Cancer Society daffodils may be just the ticket. KUOO’s Abby Kohlhaas says a variety of styles are available this year. “There are numerous kinds of daffodils that you can buy. You can buy bunches, bunches with vases, with a bear, you can send them to somebody. It’s just a great spring flower to have, brighten up your office, and it goes to a great cause.”
She adds that orders are now being taken. “If you would like to place an order you can call Becky Smith at 320-2359 or you can stop at the KUOO studios. You do need to pre-pay for your daffodils and we will contact you when they do come in.”
Orders for Daffodil Days need to be placed by February 19th.
