(Spencer)—A traffic stop last (Thurs.) evening resulted in the arrest of an Arnolds Park man on drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle around 7:30 p.m. for no rear tail lights. Upon investigating, the driver was identified as 33-year-old Eric Hartung of Arnolds Park.
Upon further investigation, the deputy discovered a black nylon bag containing prescription pill bottles with Hartung’s name on them along with what’s believed to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Hartung was subsequently arrested and booked into jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was released pending a future court appearance after posting a $2,000 bond.
