(Spirit Lake)– The Spirit Lake Vocal Jazz Ensemble has been selected to compete in the Iowa Vocal Jazz Championships.
Director Duane Ites says Spirit Lake sent in a DVD of its performances and a resume of this year’s accomplishments. Based on that, he says the group was selected as one of the top 10 vocal jazz ensembles in class 3A in the state of IOwa.
He says Spirit Lake will compete with nine other groups March 26th at Huxley Ballard High School.
