Highway 86 Collision Results In Minor Injuries To Two People

(Lakefield, Mn.)—A two-vehicle collision yesterday (Wed.) on Highway 86 near Lakefield resulted in minor injuries to two people.

The Minnesota State Patrol says vehicles driven by 38-year-old Brandon Davis of Spirit Lake and 20-year-old June Omwega of Windom were both southbound when the two collided.

Davis and Omwega were both taken to the Windom hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.

A 2000 Ford Ranger driven by Davis and a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina driven by Omwega were both totaled.

The collision took place shortly after 10:00 a.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Lakefield Police Department, the Lakefield ambulance and the Lakefield Fire Department.
