(Spirit Lake)– The outdoor event of the year is quickly approaching. KUOO’s John Adams Sr. has more…(click here for actuality.) Dickinson county’s chapter of Pheasants Forever will hold its 29th annual banquet at the Dickinson County Expo Center Saturday, April 6th. Doors will open at 4:30; social hour and raffles will begin at 4:30; a prime rib dinner will be served beginning at 6:30, and the fundraising auction will start at 7:30.
Dickinson county is one of the largest fundraising chapters in the nation. And here to tell us a little about some of the gun giveaways and some of the exciting events that are happening is Dickinson County Pheasants Forever Chapter President Dan Studer. Dan, talk about the guns… “We’re looking at giving over 65 guns away this year. We got a pretty neat opportunity ahead of us with the doors opening at 4:30. You want to make sure you get there early because we’re going to be giving away a couple of guns just for walking in the door. So you walk in the door and sign up to win. At 5:00 we’ll be giving away a Winchester Super X 320 gauge; at 5:30 we’ll be drawing for a Savage 93R17 17MHR and at 6:00 p.m. we’ll be drawing for the final gun, a CVA Optima 50 caliber black powder. So you want to make sure you get there early to get your chance in for all three of those guns. For banquet tickets or more information you can contact myself, Dan Studer, at (605) 212-0340 or Neddie Grimes at (712) 320-7686.”
This is going to be an event you will want to mark your calendars for and we’ll be reporting more on this the closer that we get.
