(Spirit Lake)—Plans to extend sanitary sewer and water mains to the new East Lake Industrial Park being developed on the east side of Spirit Lake are moving forward.
The city council Tuesday awarded the low bid of $337,892 from GM Contracting of Lake Crystal, Minnesota for the project. The bid came in below the engineer’s estimate of $444,038.
A total of six bids were received.
The council awarded the bid following a public hearing on the project that drew no opposition.
