(Lake Park)—The Lake Park Players bring their latest production to the stage this weekend. They’ll be presenting the broadway musical “Fiddler On The Roof”. Shelly Heikens is among those involved in the production. She says it involves both adults and students from throughout the area…(click here for comment.) “There are quite a few high school students involved. Of course the five daughters in the show are all high school students. Some of the russians that are in quite a few of the scenes, they’re high school students. So yeah, we’ve got a wide array of people from the community involved and community members from over here in the Spirit Lake area, we’ve got some folks from west of Lake Park involved from other communities, so we’ve really brought in a broad section of people to be part of the show.”
John Martin, who plays the roll of Tevia in the production, says there are several ways you can get tickets…(click here for comment.) “You can buy them at the door and you can also buy them at Savings Bank in Lake Park, there’s advance ticket sales there, and there are reserved tickets too if you want to do that, or just come to the door. Their $10 for adults, $5 for students. A pretty good bargain.”
Show times are 7:30 p.m. both this Friday and Saturday with a matinee at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lake Park High School Auditorium.
