(Armstrong)—The Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency has set this coming Wednesday, April 10th, as the date for a public hearing on the proposed reorganization of the Armstrong-Ringsted and Sentral Community School Districts. The hearing will begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening in the gymnasium of the Armstrong-Ringsted High School.
Both petitioners and objectors to the proposal will have an opportunity to make presentations and address AEA board members, who will also have an opportunity to ask questions of the two sides. AEA board members will announce as to when they plan to make a decision as well as a ruling on any petition and objections.
The two districts have been talking about a merger for some time.
