(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop Monday in Dickinson county resulted in the arrest of an Estherville woman on a drug charge.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 1900 block of Highway 86 driven by 21-year-old Natasha Zimmerman of Estherville for a traffic violation. A subsequent search turned up what’s alleged to be marijuana. Zimmerman was taken into custody and booked into jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, no insurance and expired registration. She was later released on her own recognizance.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by its K-9 Unit and the Milford Police Department.
