ILCC Trustees Vote To Proceed With SERT Project

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)—The board of trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College voted Tuesday to proceed with the remodeling of the Sustainable Energy Resource Technology building on the Estherville campus. The project includes remodeling the former Medieval Glass building in Estherville, which would house the proposed Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning program, the new Water Quality program, and a training facility. It would also include a lab for a potential robotics program. College officials say a 13,500 square foot addition could be built on to the facility to accommodate future growth.

Trustees awarded a bid on the project to Christensen Construction of Estherville following a public hearing.
