(Jackson, Mn.)—One of the region’s largest employers is about to expand again.
AGCO has scheduled a groundbreaking ceremony for this coming Tuesday, May 7th for a 30,000 square foot expansion of its Jackson, Minnesota manufacturing operation. Company officials say it’s part of a multi-phase initiative that’s been dubbed “Jackson Fast Forward”. They say the initiative is intended to increase capacity, improve manufacturing efficiency and further improve upon the quality of its Challenger and Massey Ferguson tractors and TerraGator and RoGator Application equipment.
AGCO officials haven’t said yet how many additional jobs the latest expansion will bring to Jackson.
