(Lake Park)—A Marathon man was injured in a motorcycle crash yesterday (Sun.) on County Road M-27 south of Lake Park.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Jimmy foster was driving a 1996 Suzuki southbound in the curves just south of Highway 9 when he lost control. The motorcycle left the road and went into the ditch.
Foster was transported by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with non-incapacitating injuries.
Damage to the motorcycle was estimated at $3,000.
Foster was cited for failure to have a valid motorcycle license and failure to maintain control.
The mishap took place shortly after 4:00 p.m.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance and paramedics, Lake Park Rescue, the Lake Park Fire Department, the Lake Park Police Department, the Iowa State Patrol and Bob’s Auto Body and Tow of Milford.
