(Spirit Lake)—A man working at the indoor ice arena under construction near the Bedell Family YMCA was injured this (Mon.) morning in an accident.
KUOO news has learned the man, whose name wasn’t immediately available, was injured after becoming trapped under a skid loaded in trench.
The man was treated on the scene and was transported by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare. We’ve learned he has since been transferred by helicopter to another hospital.
The extent of injuries and other details into the incident weren’t immediately available.
