Bridge Replacement On Hwy 18 In Clay County To Be Topic Of Come And Go Meeting

November 22, 2014

(Everly)– Plans to replace a bridge on U.S. Highway 18 over the Ocheyedan River in Clay county will be the topic of a public information event the Iowa Department of Transportation will be holding later this month.

The come-and-go event will be held Tuesday, June 25th from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Everly Community Center in Everly. D.O.T staff will be on hand to informally discuss the proposed project and answer questions.

The bridge is located 2.3 miles west of Clay County Road M-27.

Plans call for traffic to be detoured around the site using O’Brien/Clay County Road M-22 and Clay County Roads B-24 and M-27 through the city of Everly.
