November 22, 2014

(Spencer)—A Spencer man faces drug charges after a deputy who was serving him civil papers Monday at his home at 1420 1st Avenue West observed multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a subsequent search turned up various prescription medications that the suspect, 27-year-old Tyler Hamann, didn’t have prescriptions for. Hamann was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, prescription.

Hamann was booked into the Clay county jail.
