November 22, 2014

(Spencer)—A two-vehicle collision Friday in Spencer resulted in possible injuries to two people.

Spencer police say 24-year-old Joshua Knutson of Terril was westbound on Highway 71 when he collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by 14-year-old Sammy Wedeking of Spirit Lake who had stopped for a red stop light at the intersection with 4th Avenue Southwest.

Wedeking and a passenger, 52-year-old Pamela Wedeking of Spirit Lake, complained of neck pain but declined immediate treatment. No injuries were reported to Knutson.

500 dollars in damage was estimated to a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo driven by Wedeking with no damage reported to a 1992 Chevrolet pickup driven by Knutson.

The collision took place shortly before 5:00 p.m.
