(Emmetsburg)—A joint investigation by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office and Spencer police into possible stolen prescription drugs has landed a man in jail.
As part of the investigation, deputies with the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office Saturday night interviewed a suspect identified as 54-year-old Valerie Neet of Gilmore City and Mallard. While conducting the interview, authorities also searched Neet’s vehicle which resulted in them finding a quantity of marijuana.
Neet was arrested and booked into jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
