State Archaeologist and Director at the Office of the State Archaeologist, John Doershuk will speak on the Milford archaeological dig at the Spencer Library Thursday evening.
An adjunct assistant professor at the University of Iowa, Doershuk is in residence teaching a class at Iowa Lakeside Laboratory in Okoboji this summer. He and his students have been studying and researching the site, which is located about 2 miles west of Milford in the Big Bend area of the Little Sioux River.
The talk begins at 7 pm Thursday evening, June 27, at the Spencer Public Library.
