High school basketball began in the region Monday night with the Spirit Lake girls hosting Harris-Lake Park. The Indians used a 27 point second quarter to pull away from HLP, and ended with a 68-54 win. Baily Loveall led Spirit Lake with 14 points. Noreen Morrow of Harris-Lake Park led all scores in the game with 22. Spirit Lake plays at Hinton on December 3rd. Next up for Harris-Lake Park is a road trip into Minnesota to take on Southwest Concept Star on December 2nd.
