(Spencer)– No injuries were reported in a vehicle fire over the weekend in Spencer.
The Spencer Fire Department was called around 1:16 am Sunday to New Tec, Inc. at 4321 Highway Boulevard on the north side of Spencer and found the engine compartment of the vehicle fully engulfed in fire. One attack line was deployed and the fire was quickly extinguished, but not before causing heavy damage to the engine compartment and heavy fire damage to the interior of the vehicle.
The cause was uncertain but the driver had reported experiencing mechanical issues and pulled off the highway into the New Tec parking lot.
