Mike Elgersma, age 70 of Spirit Lake, passed away at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Mn. on Saturday, August 8th, 2026. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Christian Reformed Church in Sanborn, IA. Visitation will also be held at the Christian Reformed Church in Sanborn on Thursday, August 13th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; family present 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery near Sanborn, IA.
