Fay Mann, Jr., “Buzz”, 81, of Spirit Lake passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Military Rites will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the American Legion in Spirit Lake, IA. Honors will be presented by the American Legion Tempe Post #23 and the VFW John W. Fay was born on April 2, 1945, to Fay, Sr., and Pauline (Keeler) Mann in Estherville, IA. He served his country in the US Navy. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he came back home and started his lifetime career as Semi Truck Driver. In his free time he enjoyed going cat fishing with his buddies.
He is survived by his daughters Sheila Mann and her son Austin Mann-Schley and her fur babies Molly Jo and Fluffers of Spirit Lake, IA; his daughter Rebecca Moreno and her significant other Jeff Magiera of Plattsburgh, NY; and her children William (Raylynn) Bushy, Matthew (Jackie) Holmes, Heather Osher, great grandchildren Ryan and Madison Bushy; brothers Perry (Marsha) Mann of Doliver, IA; and Jerry Mann of Concrete, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers David, Orville and Tim, and his sister Nettie Ann.
