(Jackson, Mn.)– Two southwest Minnesota financial institutions are becoming one. Jackson Federal Savings and Loan Association of Jackson and Worthington Federal Savings Bank of Worthington have signed a merger agreement.
As terms of the deal, Jackson Federal Savings and Loan’s parent holding companies would be dissolved. The transaction is subject to approval by federal regulators and a vote by the members of Jackson Federal Savings and Loan’s parent holding companies.
The two institutions have combined assets of nearly $132 million.
