(Rock Rapids)– A Rock Rapids man was injured Friday after losing control of a three-wheeler near Lester.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Joshua Waddell was eastbound in a ditch when he attempted to go up and around a box culvert. The three-wheeler slid down toward the culvert, throwing Waddell off. He landed in the culvert.
Waddell was taken by ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids and was transferred to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls with possible head injuries.
The incident took place around 2:00 p.m. Friday.
