The Deadline For Submitting Walleye Weekend Grant Applications Is Quickly Approaching

(Arnolds Park)– The clock is ticking to get those Walleye Weekend Grant applications turned in. Morgan Strauss of the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce urges all 501C-3 non-profit organizations who are interested to get those applications turned in soon…

“We’re so excited to give back around $20,000 back into our environment community, whether it has to do with angling, the protective associations, fishing club, things like that, just to beautify the lakes area and continue to make it a great place to visit and fish and enjoy everything that the Iowa Great Lakes has to offer. The deadline for those applications is Friday, May 2nd is that deadline, so make sure you get your applications in and we’re going to review those and see who is the best candidate for our Walleye Weekend Grants.”

Applications can be found at okobojichamber.com or by emailing blain@okobojichamber.com. Grant awards will be announced following Walleye Weekend, which is coming up May 3rd and 4th on the Iowa Great Lakes.
