(Spencer)– City officials in Spencer say the Aquatic Center will open tomorrow (Sat.).
The season opening of the facility had to be delayed by a week due to a significant leak that was discovered the week of May 26th. The city’s Park and Recreation Department says several tests were conducted and it was determined the leak could be mitigated by closing off a return line. They add that permanent repairs will be made in the offseason and that in the meantime they’ll continue to monitor the operations to ensure safety.
