(Mountain Lake, Mn.)– A Comfrey, Minnesota man was arrested on a firearms charge following an incident Sunday in Mountain Lake.
Police there say they were notified around 3:00 pm that afternoon regarding a man possessing a stolen handgun who was working in that city. Police found the gun while searching the vehicle the suspect was in. The gun was confirmed as being stolen from Jackson county. They also reported finding drug paraphernalia.
29-year-old Cody Pitts was booked into the Cottonwood County Jail pending charges of possession of a stolen firearm and felon in possession of a firearm. Police say other charges may be pending.
