(Spirit Lake)– The track and field renovation at Spirit Lake High School has received a special award.
The Spirit Lake Community School District, Tri State Paving, Midwest Tennis and Track and Beck Engineering won a 2011 Quality Paving Award at the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa’s annual convention held recently.
Awards were presented in five different categories. The Spirit Lake award was for the Athletic Use Paving division.
Projects were rated on design, smoothness, quality control, general appearance, workmanship, contractor management, safety and project complexity.
