(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake High School will host the Iowa High School Music Association State Jazz Band Festival this Saturday (Jan. 14th) from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Sami Bedell Center for the Performing Arts.
The Harris-Lake Park jazz band, directed by Jeremy Britton, will perform at 9:30 a.m.; the Spirit Lake High School jazz band, directed by Jody Ingwersen, will take the stage at 12:40 p.m.
Other bands that will be competing include Belmond-Klemme, Boyden-Hull, Marcus Meriden Cleghorn, Newell-Fonda, Spencer and Storm Lake.
