(Spirit Lake)– A second attempt at getting a bond issue approved for a new city hall will likely go before voters in Spirit Lake in conjunction with this coming November’s General Election. But just exactly what the new proposal will consist of is far from certain yet.
The city council Tuesday discussed possible options and where to go next with the issue. There was a clear concensus to put the measure on the ballot in November. Several council members indicated that would give ample time to re-establish committees and launch a new campaign to educate the public on the issue.

The council directed city staff to put together a revised plan to that extent with cost estimates. It will be presented at an upcoming council meeting for further consideration.
